Welcome

My ceramic work is both decorative and functional: simple, wheel-thrown vessels (bottles, bowls, vases and jugs) which are useful but also have a sculptural, still-life appearance when grouped together. I'm inspired by Giorgio Morandi's paintings, and I want my work to have a similar sense of quiet harmony of form and colour.

2026 update: this year, 30 years after graduating from Camberwell, I've decided to take some time out of the studio: certainly not a retirement, but I want to have less pressure and more time to travel, see friends and family, explore other art-forms, and maybe develop my work in different directions.

Allthough there are Galleries listed on my "Stockists" page, I'm having a sabbatical from regularly restocking them; they may well still have items of my work on display and for sale, but it would certainly be worth checking with a gallery what stock they have remaining before making a special trip.

My "Events" page will also show fewer items than usual while I enjoy my "year of working differently", but I will still be doing occasional exhibitions and Open Studio events and will share details here and on social media.

Orders and Commissions

When I have work which is immediately available for purchase, this can be seen in the Shop section of this website; currently there are no items listed but I hope to re-stock the Shop soon (February 2026).

I will still welcome commisions so do please get in touch; browse my Gallery page to see my range of colours and forms, and contact me by email.
