Conservatory
and Garden Pots and Planters:
A range of highly individual vessels for conservatories, gardens -
or anywhere you want to display a large flower arrangement or a potted
tree. Decorated using a method of applying surface decoration called
"Sprigging", the globe-shaped vases and architectural planters
have leaves, vines and flowers climbing over them, giving a feeling
of abundant nature whatever you put in them. Each piece is press moulded
using white earthenware (for interior use), terracotta or stoneware
clay (frost-safe) and then the decoration is painstakingly applied
by hand, before biscuit and glaze firing. The inspiration for these
pots is Lucy's love of climbing plants in English hedgerows, and Greek
vines clinging to old stone walls. Also in this range is the terracotta
Log Pot, an unusual, attractive and practical way of storing logs
next to your fireplace. |
